These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Michel General Services website and your requests for our services. By using this website or submitting an estimate request, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Michel General Services is a family-owned general services company operating in the Greater Seattle area, Washington, offering handyman services, painting, carpentry, flooring, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and fixture-level electrical and plumbing work.
Estimates
Estimates are free and non-binding. They are prepared after an in-person visit and reflect the scope discussed at that visit. Changes to the scope, hidden conditions discovered during the work or client-requested additions may change the final price, and will always be communicated before additional work is done.
Scope of services
Our electrical and plumbing services are limited to fixture and device-level work as described on this website. Projects that require a specialty contractor, such as electrical panel work, new circuits, main water or sewer lines and water heater replacement, are outside our scope, and we will tell you so during the estimate.
Workmanship warranty
Our work is covered by a 6-month workmanship warranty from the date of completion. The warranty covers defects in the work we performed. It does not cover normal wear, misuse, damage caused by others, or defects in client-supplied materials. Manufacturer warranties on products and materials are separate and belong to the manufacturer.
Payments
We accept Zelle, Venmo, Cash, Check. Payment terms for each project are agreed in writing with the estimate. We do not offer financing.
Scheduling and access
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work areas on the scheduled dates. Exterior work depends on weather, and we will communicate any schedule changes as early as possible.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Michel General Services is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this website. Our liability related to services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington.
