Plumbing Services in Seattle, WA

Faucets, toilets, disposals, valves and leak repairs, fixed right and checked for drips before we leave.

Plumbing Services by Michel General Services
The service

Small plumbing problems are patient: the faucet that drips only at night, the toilet that runs a little, the slow drain everyone learned to live with. Left alone, they turn into water bills and subfloor damage. Our plumbing service exists for exactly this layer of work, the fixture-level jobs that need doing this week, not whenever a plumbing company has a gap.

We replace and repair fixtures, hunt down leaks and handle the plumbing side of kitchen and bath remodels. Like our electrical work, the scope is honest: fixture and supply-level jobs are ours; main lines, sewer and water heater replacements get referred to specialty contractors, and we tell you which is which at the estimate.

Around here

Plumbing around here has its own local flavor: crawl-space supply lines under Shoreline and Everett ramblers, exterior hose bibs that crack in the first real freeze, and hard-working bathroom fans losing the battle against nine months of damp. We crawl where the pipe is, winterize what should have been winterized, and fix the fixture-level problems before they become subfloor problems.

On the work order

  • Faucet, sink and showerhead replacement
  • Toilet repair and installation
  • Garbage disposal installation and replacement
  • Supply line, shut-off valve and P-trap replacement
  • Leak detection and repair at fixtures
  • Drain unclogging for sinks, tubs and showers
Sound familiar?

  • A faucet that drips no matter how hard you close it
  • A toilet that runs on its own schedule

Questions

What homeowners ask us

Straight answers, starting with the one everybody asks first.

How long does a plumbing repair take?

Most fixture replacements and repairs take one to three hours. Bundling several, like a faucet plus two shut-off valves, into one visit is the efficient way to do it.

What should I do while I wait for the visit?

Call us. We help you find the right shut-off valve by phone so the leak stops doing damage, then get the repair scheduled fast within business hours.

Can you fix a leak inside a wall?

We locate it and open the wall carefully. If the repair is at fixture or supply level we fix it, patch the drywall and repaint. If it is a main line, we tell you and help you bring in the right specialist.

Is it worth replacing old valves before they fail?

Usually yes. Supply lines and shut-off valves are cheap parts protecting expensive floors, and we often replace them across the house in a single visit.

Do you install water heaters or sewer lines?

No. Those need specialty plumbing contractors, and we are straight about that. Our lane is fixture and supply-level work, done fast and done well.

How far do you travel for plumbing repairs?

Our routes cover Seattle, the Eastside and the corridor up to Everett: Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell, Lynnwood, Renton and neighbors. Send your city with the request and we confirm scheduling on the spot.
